iStori.es is a supremely easy-to-use story-telling device that requires no manual. All of the instructions necessary to create dynamic output are available from the on-screen wizard. Load up some pictures, add text, music and sound effects and BOOM! you have your own interactive story in minutes.

You can use either resources relevant to the Inanimate Alice storyline or work with your own files. Or... mix up the two! Share the results in class and let your students work on their stories at home. As well as looking at the classwork the series has inspired, parents can watch Inanimate Alice episodes themselves online.

iStori.es is available to schools via a lifetime site-wide licence for just £99.00 + VAT (15%) through Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (for PCs only. iStori.es is previewed by Alice in Episode 4 of the series. The tool has been developed to integrate seamlessly with the series encouraging budding iStorytellers of all ages to use their imaginations and tell their stories in this powerful and highly original way.

Inanimate Alice is told in episodes, each one a complete story. However, we are excited by the possibilities for participation created by our tool, iStori.es. Alice can't wait to see how you and your students mash-up and create your own stories! Join our growing community; selected stories created with our tool will be showcased on 'What's your story?'.

An example of this, Hari's Story, is available in iStori.es, and can be downloaded for free here (.exe file, 9MB). Hari's Story is a mini-story within Episode 4 showing, for the first time, a point of view other than that of Alice. We have used photos from Episode 4 to tell a story from the point of view of one of Alice's friends, Hari. The resulting piece complements the Episode and enriches the experience without changing the plotline.
